Your 'Free Restoration Data Transfer Balance' is the amount of data you can restore free of charge. For example, your 'Free Restoration Data Transfer Balance' may be 1GB, this means you can restore 1GB of data at no charge.
The 'Free Restoration Data Transfer Balance' is calculated based on the amount of data you transfer when generating your backups over the period of a month. This calculation is made on the first of each month and is based on either your current month's total data transfer, or your previous month's, whichever is greater. We take 50% of this total data transfer and apply it to your 'Free Restoration Data Transfer Balance', the minimum balance is 1GB, the maximum balance is 100GB.
For example, if last month you transferred 10GB of data you will be given a 5GB 'Free Restoration Data Transfer Balance'. If you transferred 1GB this equates to a balance of 512MB, however in this case the minimum balance of 1GB would apply.
