FAQ >> AJAX Loading Trouble-Shooting

AJAX means asynchronous JavaScript and XML and is a term used to refer to a web development technique. With AJAX, web applications can retrieve data from the server asynchronously in the background without interfering with the display and behavior of the existing page.

This means for example, we can load key elements of a page quickly and then load slower and less important elements using AJAX, after the initial page has loaded. We use this technique to load your API status information when you have several API's installed, therefore enabling the system to load without waiting for your API's to respond.

AJAX relies on JavaScript, therefore your web browser must have JavaScript-support enabled. A notification will be displayed on the myRepono login page if you are using a web browser which does not support JavaScript. If your web browser does not support JavaScript then you will be unable to use some of the features on myRepono.com, in this case please upgrade your web browser to the latest version - we recommend Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. If you are unable to do so, please use myRepono.mobi which does not require JavaScript.

Connection Error

Connection Error

If an AJAX request fails, you will be shown a 'Connection Error' message. You should only receive a 'Connection Error' if your internet connection fails/is disrupted. Please refresh the page and repeat the actions you performed leading up to the 'Connection Error', if another 'Connection Error' is received please contact support immediately.

If an AJAX loading dialogue is shown for an extended period of time it may indicate an error, in this case please refresh the page and repeat the actions you are performing, if the content does not load after several minutes please contact support immediately.
