Backups: Download Combined Backup

The download combined backup section allows you to download all your backup packets in a single compressed ZIP file.

In order to download all your backup packets in a single download we need to process the packets to decrypt and decompress each backup packet, we then need to combine all your files and compress them into a new ZIP file.

This process places a high load on our servers, and as such we charge a minimal fee of $0.01 USD / £0.01 GBP / €0.01 EUR to discourage and reduce unnecessary usage.

To download your combined backup simply select the 'Confirm Charge' button to accept the combined backup charge of $0.01 USD / £0.01 GBP / €0.01 EUR. Once you have confirmed the charge your backup will be generated and will be available for download, this process may take up to or over an hour to complete. Once you have downloaded your combined backup it will be removed from our system and you will be re-charged if you need to re-generate the combined backup. Combined backups are deleted if not downloaded within 48 hours and you will be re-charged if you need to re-generate the combined backup.

Please note, if your total backup size is over 2GB then your combined backup download may be provided in multiple ZIP files which are approximately 2GB in size. This approach is used to allow the user to begin download the first 2GB packet while the subsequent packets are still being generated, it enables users with low performance systems to access the ZIP files which may be inaccessible if over 2GB, and it also greatly improves the efficiency and speed of the combined backup download process.

The combined backup download section may provide a percentage complete status identifying how far the combined backup download process has progressed, please note this status information is usually updated every minute.

Combined backup filenames use the following format:
COMBINED-BACKUP-[domain_id]-[domain_name]-[backup_id]-[zip_id].zip
