The myRepono Backup API has been updated to provide numerous new features including integration with the Unix command-line tool, mysqldump. By using mysqldump, the myRepono API is able to generate backups of much larger databases, more efficiently and in considerably less time.
The Backup API has also recieved numerous tweaks and improvements to improve reliability and efficiency, and to improve the API's compatibility with more hosting environments.
Users do not need to update their APIs unless they have experienced difficulties with their mySQL database backups.
