Blog >> New Features & System Improvements

We are pleased to announce myRepono has been updated with a range of new features and improvements.

Restoration System

Backups: Restore Backup

Backups: Restore Backup

The myRepono backup restoration system has been updated with an improved file selection process, and the restoration process will now automatically archive the backup you are restoring to ensure it can not be removed during the restoration process.

The restoration file indexing process has also been updated to improve efficiency and speed up the indexing stage.

Files & Databases

The 'Files' and 'Databases' sections have been updated with improved error messages to aid novice users, and the 'Database' section has been revised to improve navigation between database configurations.

API Debug & Add Domain

The 'API Debugging Tool' has been updated to detect and advise if an HTTP redirect error occurs, and improved instructions have been added regarding DNS cache issues. The 'Add New Domain' section has been updated to improve usability by novice users, and to prevent the input of URLs which are incompatible with the myRepono system (such as 'localhost' or '127.0.0.1').

API Installation

The 'Domains' -> 'API' section has been updated to include installation instructions for the myRepono WordPress Backup Plugin, in addition to the 'Automated API Installation' tool and the 'Manual API Installation' instructions.
