Blog >> Data Storage Moved to Virginia, USA

We are pleased to announce that myRepono's data storage infrastructure (which was provided by ServInt in DC, USA) has now been moved to ServInt's new data centre in Virginia (VA), USA.

ServInt - Managed Hosting Made Better ServInt, a pioneering provider of managed hosting for enterprises worldwide, recently announced it has completed build-out of it's new data center facility in Reston, VA. The Reston data center initially adds more than one-half a megawatt of capacity to ServInt's existing North American data center footprint, and provides ample, additional on-site capacity for further expansion. The Reston location, which joins three other ServInt facilities in McLean, VA, Washington, DC and Los Angeles, offers excellent power and connectivity redundancy, and meets the highest standards for environmental sustainability.

ServInt's new facility is a true private data center, built within a state-of-the-art complex which features the following important specifications:

  • SAS 70 Type II certified
  • Six public utility feeds from two separate substations
  • 2N/N+1 UPS power configurations
  • Four 2.25-megawatt emergency generators with two 20,000-gallon fuel tanks
  • 24/7/365 manned security with multiple man-traps, CCTV monitoring, biometric scanners and mag-key card access points
  • Seven 400-ton cooling plants

We are very excited to be able to take advantage of ServInt's new Reston facility and look forward to expanding to their Los Angeles facility in the future.
