Blog >> System Changes: Failed Backups Paused

The myRepono system has been updated to automatically 'Pause' your domain 'Backup Status' if you have had 25 consecutive failed backup attempts.

This means if your backups fail 25 times in a row without a successful backup, your backups (for that domain profile) will be paused to prevent persist failed backup notifications. This will only occur if your API is installed incorrectly and you do not address the cause of any failed backup notifications.

If your backups are paused you will receive an email notification, and you can restart your backups by going to the 'Domains' -> 'Settings' section and setting your 'Backup Status' to 'Active'.
