Configure FTP Backups

We are pleased to announce the myRepono system now supports FTPS and SFTP backups, in addition to FTP backups.

In response to popular demand, we have extended myRepono's FTP backups functionality to support FTPS (FTP over SSL) and SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol). This allows users to configure FTP backups using these methods which provide additional security over traditional FTP.

To configure FTPS or SFTP backups simply log-in to your myRepono.com account and proceed to the 'Domains' -> 'API' -> 'Configure FTP Backups' section for the relevant domain.

Please note, FTP backups are only used to transfer large files which can not be backed up using the default methods and therefore most users do not need to configure FTP backups - you will receive an automatic notification if FTP backups are required.
